Neurodivergence
Navigating life as a neurodivergent individual—whether as a child, teen, or adult—can feel overwhelming, particularly in a world that often misunderstands or undervalues different ways of thinking and being. Whether you or your child are exploring a diagnosis or have long identified as neurodivergent, you may face challenges like managing emotions, navigating friendships and relationships, or building a life that feels authentic and sustainable. These struggles can lead to self-doubt, burnout, or feeling like you don’t belong.
Using a neuroaffirming and strengths-based approach, I offer a supportive space where diverse ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world are respected and celebrated. For kids and teens, this may mean understanding emotions, developing self-advocacy skills, or finding strategies to navigate sensory sensitivities, school, and friendships. For adults, it might involve identifying strengths, addressing executive functioning challenges, or building a life that feels aligned and sustainable.
Drawing from therapies like CBT, ACT, and polyvagal approaches, I help clients of all ages explore the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and physical responses. Together, we’ll develop tools to regulate the nervous system, manage overwhelm, and build confidence in your identity. Embracing neurodivergence as a strength can open the door to deeper self-understanding, meaningful connections, and a life that truly reflects who you are.
